... if Ella's too hot or too cold? If she is still hungry or just uses my nipple as a dummy? If she's tired or just wants a cuddle? It's all guess work isn't it?
I worry especially about the temperature thing. The first week I was home with her, we had cold nights/mornings and mild days and I was told to keep her warm, but didn't want her to overheat under bunny rugs and blankets either. Now it's 38 degrees here today and even when her skin looks all red and clearly hot, she still doesn't seem to like me wiping her with a wet cloth or even giving her a bath.
We're doing well though. She started to sleep a bit more, during the night as well as during the day. Only in the evenings she still feeds for a few hours continuously. Usually till about 10-11pm. But then she only wakes for a short drink in the middle of the night and I even sometimes have to wake her up in the morning for her first feed.
My brain is cooking here. It'll start cooling down again tomorrow and then hopefully my posts will make more sense!
