in the oven in total. A couple of my friends managed to persuade them to let them taste one (I guard them with my life as it&#39;s the only savory snack I can

I just bought Jamie Oliver&#39;s Ministry of Food cookbook from the book club at work. I&#39;ve just looked at almost every recipe and I haven&#39;t felt this
excited about a new cookbook for a long time. I have been cooking for 20 years and I do regard myself as a pretty decent cook. But I want to make most recipes
in this book and I like the way the recipes are explained too.

			<description><![CDATA[ I actually weeded the grass out of my veggie patch today! Some of it was knee high! It was bloddy hard, but gave me such a sense of achievement.

Now all that&#39;s left to do is try and get some of the couch grass roots out of the soil, though that will be a continuing battle but I&#39;m hoping heavy
mulching will prevent most of it to start growing back. I also have to try and fix the borders somehow (it&#39;s raised). I got some compost and manure today

			<title><![CDATA[ Fan forced oven ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I had a new one put in at the shack (for the lesbians, so they wouldn&#39;t keep using my kitchen!) and it won&#39;t cook anything! Actually, it does cook
things, but very very very very sllloooowwwlllyyyyy......!

If you have it on the setting with the element on, the top burns but nothing else cooks. If you have it just on the fan, it takes FOREVER. The others are all
somewhere in between.

where it was kept on ice. I put it in the bottom of the fridge as soon as I got home. I now just put it in the freezer because it&#39;s too late to cook it for

			<description><![CDATA[ I cooked my first casserole for the season yesterday. I looove cooking them. And it&#39;s one of those things I never use a recipe for. Just chuck things in a
pot and put it in the oven for a couple of hours. Then I switch off the oven and let the pot sit in it while it cools down. Only, I have now got a cast iron
casserole pot and it was still hot when I got it out of the cold oven. But the meat was so tender that it just melts in your mouth. And I just love the slow

So last night we had sausages with steamed potatoes and cauliflower in white sauce (yum!). And today I suddenly remembered my mum&#39;s chicken ragout. Which I
always chose for my birthday, with the chicken vegetable soup that produced the chicken meat for the ragout as entree. Real winter food with all that chicken
