because we had mosh pit tickets and that, combined with bare bums, masturbation and an awful lot of swearing and drug references made me feel it wasn&#39;t the
place for her.

			<title><![CDATA[ Birthday party trends ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve just handed out invitations for Ella&#39;s birthday party today at preschool as it&#39;s her last day of school. Another parent was doing the same and
I think she did what lots of parents seem to do now: she invited every child in the class!

I allowed Ella to invite 10. She chose about 5 from preschool, 4 from daycare and a friend&#39;s daughter. Because it&#39;s in summer holildays, I don&#39;t
expect all of them to show up.

			<description><![CDATA[ Ella finally has a uniform! Only a summer outfit so far and $165. <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif"> Mind you, the school bag was over $40, I believe and I hope she&#39;ll have that for
years to come. I&#39;ve been told they are indestructible. But can be just as easily lost as anything else! At least the hats are only $8 so if (when!) she
loses that, she can buy herself a new one from her pocket money.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Bit related to Donna&#39;s post about the schooling decision, but thought I&#39;d start a seperate topic to ask your opinions and experiences.</p>

<p>I just looked at the structure of the classes in Ella&#39;s primary school for the coming year. Turns out they have one composite class in each level,
including a K/1 year.</p>

<p>Now I&#39;ve always thought that it would be good for Ella to be in a composite class because I think she&#39;s likely to be a bit ahead of her age-group... ]]></description>

not.  Because they have opened it up and asked for written requests that they will consider, I feel a little compelled to say something, but what???

			<description><![CDATA[ DD contracted hives last week and is currently on two adult Claratyne a day plus 10mls of Phenergen.  She was prescribed 20mls but after the first night when
she slept for 15 hours I dropped her back to 10.  Tonight I suggested we drop it back again and was given a blow by blow description of how nice medically
induced drowsiness is and how she is going to continue to take it after she is clear of hives!  In your dreams child! ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Ella got her hair cut short! She said she wanted it as short as her best friend from preschool, who has a bob.

I nearly cried when I saw those beautiful gold locks fall to the floor! I kept some too because her hair was already darker at the top. We decided against a
fringe (her best friend does have one) but I think it might hang in her face too much now.

			<title><![CDATA[ Ds's new teeth - so happy now! ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Well, we have been to the hospital and ds now has 3 shiny stainless steel crowns, several &#39;invisible&#39; fillings, and a much brighter smile and
disposition!

It was a huge deal for him - bit scared etc before, never been to hospital before and he knew something was up!! He was great though, and the dentist was
fantastic with him - really pleased with the outcome. All up it cost about $3,600, but I will get some rebate from medicare and private health (not sure how

			<description><![CDATA[ J and H had their school open day today, from 9 - 10:30am they went in to this years prep class. The girls were a little shell shocked at the number of kids
there, we had to walk through a sea of parents and kids to get in to the classroom. They cried a little and clung to my leg like little monkeys, the teacher
tried to get them to sit down, but they were clinging to me for dear life. I stayed with them for 10-15 minutes so they would calm down, this is their first
experience with big school... ]]></description>
